Load Bank Testing:

Load Bank Testing allows a standby power system to be tested and exercised under load to verify its overall reliability to perform in a power outage. When a load bank is used, the artificial load it provides brings the system up to an acceptable operating temperature. When generators are run without loads, they fail to produce enough heat to combat “wet-stacking”.

Wet-stacking occurs when unburned fuel accumulates in an engines exhaust system. This can foul the fuel injectors, engine valves and exhaust system, including turbochargers, and reduce operating performance. Wet-stacking also poses a fire hazard.



In-House Radiator Shop:

Weld Power repairs all our customers’ radiators at our in-house radiator shop. This gives us the ability to provide the fastest possible turnaround times for radiator repairs.




Diesel Fuel Filtering and Conditioning:

Fuel problems are the leading causes of all generator engine failures. Fuel degradation and algae build up are the most wide spread symptoms of a jeopardized fuel system. Diesel fuel begins to deteriorate within 30 days of being produced. This natural process is called fuel degradation. Diesel fuel tanks are also vulnerable to algae build up as a result of water deposits caused by condensation.
